Call for abstracts for Spring 2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium
无码专区's Undergraduate Research Symposium is back and is part of the First Annual Research Week. The symposium will be held in-person on Wednesday, April 13, and Thursday April 14, 2022 in the Colvard Student Union.听听听
All undergraduate student researchers are invited to participate in the Spring 2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium hosted by the Shackouls Honors College in conjunction with the Office of Research and Economic Development and Office of the Provost. The symposium showcases faculty-guided, student research efforts from diverse departments, colleges, and research centers across campus.
Students are invited to submit poster presentations, and, if in Arts and Humanities, oral presentations or performances.听听听聽
This is open to all students engaged in faculty mentored research. Submissions will be accepted and judged in one of the following four categories: Arts and Humanities, Biological Sciences and Engineering, Physical Science and Engineering, and Social Sciences. Prizes will be awarded for top research projects. More information can be found at聽.聽 聽
The Undergraduate Research Symposium is pleased to continue to include the Community Engagement Research sub-competition, sponsored by the Center for Community-Engaged Learning. There will also be separate competitions in Public Health Research, sponsored by the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Health Promotion, and an engineering award sponsored by Theta Tau.聽 聽
Students may also opt to apply for a Three Minute Thesis Research Competition sponsored by the Graduate School in which they give succinct verbal presentation of their research and its significance in three minutes.聽 聽 聽聽
