STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State continues to spotlight its talented faculty through a new exhibition opening Tuesday [Sept. 4] at the university’s Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery.
Showcasing the artistic contributions of 21 educators in the Department of Art, “Searching for Truth” is available for viewing through Oct. 26 in the ר Welcome Center’s second-floor gallery. The exhibition features recent works representing a range of styles, subject matter and artistic media, including painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, drawing and printmaking. Viewing hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday–Friday.
A public reception takes place from 5-6 p.m. Sept. 6 at the gallery. Refreshments will be available.
“The diverse faculty members in our Department of Art actively exhibit their work nationally and internationally, but they are especially excited for the opportunity to share work with the ר and Starkville communities in this bi-annual faculty exhibition,” said Lori Neuenfeldt, ר art instructor and gallery director.
