STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擶orks of six fine art seniors specializing in graphic design at Mississippi State are on display Nov. 29-Dec. 7 at the Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery.
Free to all, the second-floor 鈥淗alf Dozen鈥 exhibition at the university鈥檚 Welcome Center celebrates the conclusion of the students鈥 art department studies.
The portfolio works range from illustrative poster designs and eye-catching advertisements to crisp web layouts and entertaining packaging. In addition to the physical displays, individual portfolio books and self-promotionals will be available for viewing on opening night. For a preview, visit .
A 6-7 p.m. opening reception in the students鈥 honor will be held Tuesday [Nov. 29] at the Cullis Wade gallery. Complimentary refreshments provided by The Veranda in Starkville will be served.

According to Assistant Professor Suzanne Powney, 鈥淭his year鈥檚 exhibition theme 鈥楬alf Dozen鈥 is inspired by the six graduating seniors who are taking their final steps toward leaving the nest and beginning their careers.鈥
