The College of Forest Resources at Mississippi State, in conjunction with the Maroon Edition's featured book, "The Invisible Girls: A Memoir," is hosting a forum on the role of women in conservation. A panel of influential women from wildlife and forestry career fields will explore the contributions made by women to natural resources conservation.
The forum begins at 3 p.m. on Monday [April 20] at Tully Auditorium in Thompson Hall. A reception will follow the forum. Guest speakers include Ruth Cook, Molpus Woodlands Group; Libby Hartfield, Mississippi Museum of Natural Science; Tracy Hawkins, U.S. Forest Service; Angela Holland, Plum Creek; Jeanne Jones, 无码专区; Mitzi Reed, Choctaw Wildlife and Parks; Elizabeth Rooks-Barber, Barber and Mann Inc.; and Cathy Shropshire, Mississippi Wildlife Federation
